CVG Finance was founded in 2009 by local businessman, Paul Lambess. Murray Sheppard joined the company in 2012 and Ian Bourne followed in 2015. Then in 2023, Murray and Ian bought the company and have been living the dream ever since.

Murray Sheppard
Murray is your contact for any business and commercial related enquiries at CVG and has business banking in his blood. He has 38 years experience in the finance industry including 24 years at ANZ and 14 years as a Finance Broker with CVG. He was a Business Bank Manager at ANZ and is passionate about providing the best solution for business clients and helping them grow. He is also passionate about his family and the mighty Hawks AFL team.
Ian Bourne
Ian is your go to for any Consumer loans and has a background in both Private Banking and Business Banking. Ian has 34 years of experience in the finance industry including 24 years in the banking industry and 10 years as a broker at CVG. He has worked for NAB as a Senior Business Banker and previously set up a Private banking office for ANZ in Newcastle. Ian draws on his extensive experience to be very client focused with the ability to seamlessly navigate the world of banking and deliver results. Ian is a family man living in Dudley, and enjoys the outdoors. His hobbies include surfing and mountain biking. He is also a past president of the Newcastle Rotary club and was a long standing Director of the Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation.
